PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial is scheduled to sit down with various LGUs where the league holds its games, confident he will get them to agree to bring the fans back for the import-laced conference now that that government has eased the quarantine restriction in NCR.

The government’s Inter-Agency Task Force has given the PBA its approval to go ahead with the Governors’ Cup. That leaves the league to work with LGUs ready to host the PBA games with the presence of fans.

“Kasalukuyan tayong nakikipagusap mga LGUs at tayo ay umasa na mapagbibigyan ang ating kahilingan na pahintulutang makapasok at makapanood ang ating mga fans ng laro,” said Marcial, who is scheduled to sit down with the LGU of Pasay City on Dec. 1.

So in the meantime, the PBA will continue to miss the cheers of the fans when the Governors’ Cup fires off on Dec. 8.

The second conference features import with below 6-6 in height.

The imports who are seeing action in the tournament are are KJ McDaniels of NLEX, Alaska’s Olu Ashaolu, Brandon Brown of San Miguel, Cameron Forte of NorthPort, Terrafirma’s Antonio Hester, Henry Walker of Rain or Shine, Meralco’s Tony Bishop, Justine Brownlee of Ginebra, Jaylen Bond of Blackwater, McKenzie Moore of TNT, Paul Harris of Phoenix and Mike Harris of Magnolia.
