Justin Melton posted on his Instagram account an artwork of himself in a Magnolia jersey and along with it a heartfelt farewell message to the one and only franchise he has played for in the PBA.

The 34-year old Melton, who was taken by the Hotshots, then known as the San Mig Coffee Mixers, with the 13th overall pick in the 2013 rookie draft, was recently dealt to the Terrafirma Dyip along with big man Kyle Pascual for rookie center James Laput.

Below is the complete message of the 4-time PBA champion:

I want to start by saying that I am truly grateful to have been a part of the Purefoods organisation. From the San Mig Coffee days to the Magnolia Hotshots.

Id like to thank Boss Ang and the rest of management for 8 wonderful years🙏🏽❤️ What a ride! Forever grateful truly blessed. Thank you for giving me an opportunity!

I want to thank all of the coaching staff for the guidance and the time invested in me. My teammates, I can not say enough!! 4 Championships in 8 years. The bonds are built🙏🏽 Its been a pleasure grinding along side all of you and I wish all of you continued success and health in your careers!

Everyone behind the scenes making the machine work…Mam Reena❤️ Sir Jo..Boss Cap..Arcee..Nick..Nathan..all of “the boys” Thank you for everything.
